2025 School Board Candidates
Genevieve Zercher
Genevieve has lived in Manheim for 9 years and has chosen to make Manheim her family’s home. As a mother of two students in the district, she understands firsthand the importance of a supportive and rich educational environment. With a career in human services advocating and supporting community members to have full lives; Genevieve can commit to advocating for the needs of families. Genevieve believes in ensuring opportunities for all students, and fostering effective collaboration between educators, parents, and the community. She is passionate about making a positive impact on our schools and working to ensure a bright future for our community.
Genevieve is a 2024 Graduate of Emerge PA, a current participant in Ed Voters PA Public Education Champions. Genevieve holds a B.A. in English from Millersville University. She’s the proud mom of two kids, two cats, a foster dog and a bunny. Genevieve enjoys gardening, reading and embroidery.
Dr. Amber Snyder was born and raised in Manheim and became the first person in her family to obtain a bachelor's degree. She is proud that her roots in Manheim led to her achievement of obtaining her doctorate in education in 2021.

Amber is passionate about giving all students the opportunity to thrive in their school experience. ​She has spent her career supporting the well-being of children and knows how crucial they are to the future of our community and world. Amber wants to build a united Manheim, where schools and community are connected, and the school board serves as a bridge between the two. She wants to center the voices of parents, as advocates for their children, as well as kids who want to share their voices. Amber believes in a school board that is transparent, dedicated to responsible spending and building a shared future for school and community.

Amber lives in Manheim with her husband and Standard Poodle Rowlf. She enjoys music, disc golfing, and retreating to the woods to recharge.

Quinlan Kaufmann

Quinlan Kaufmann is a lifelong Manheim resident and a proud Manheim Central High School graduate. He will graduate this May with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington College, where he serves as a class officer in student government. Quinlan is passionate about giving back to the community that helped shape him into the man he is today.
With experience working in the Maryland State government and leading initiatives to raise funds for veterans while at school, Quinlan brings a spirit of service and civic engagement to everything he does. He is primarily focused on finding creative ways to expand and enrich the student experience in Manheim Central schools. Quinlan hopes to support a school system that continues to evolve and thrive by strengthening communication between educators, parents, and students. He feels that fresh perspectives are needed and has a deep-rooted dedication to ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed in our schools.
