Good school boards listen before they lead. School Board members represent the people. We want to increase communication between the board and the community to bring all voices forward. By engaging our community more effectively, we seek to build stronger schools that reflect the values and voices of the people we serve. 

The community deserves transparent and informed budget decisions where taxpayer funds are used responsibly. We want to make careful decisions focused on our learners and our future. Our commitment is to transparent budgeting and ensuring taxpayer dollars are used wisely to put students and teachers first. Through property taxes, Manheim community members directly contribute to the budget of the school district. We will advocate for more transparent reporting of school spending through community-engaged budgeting processes, focusing on cost-effective strategies that prioritize students and teachers, and provide them with every resource possible to succeed.

Each student deserves a safe, supportive learning environment where they can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. Great schools should support every child, regardless of their income, background, or learning needs. The public school system is in place to serve students and support their education, growth, and development. We plan to trust the experts we have in our district to make guided decisions.
